Bordered to the north by the highly biodiverse Mt Lindesay National Park and on the south by the Denmark River, our family farm and Perendale sheep stud is a nature lover’s paradise, boasting three gully dams, regrowth forests, and granite outcrops.
With over 100 species of trees planted since purchasing the farm in 1982, the property is now a veritable arboretum and teeming with birdlife. When we purchased our farm almost 40 years ago it was a degraded and barren property. With a lot of work the farm has been transformed.
By establishing a diversity of tree plantings for salinity and sheep protection, fencing off waterways, our prime lamb operation attains high productivity and environmental sustainability. In addition to prime lamb, we maintain a small orchard and vegetable garden providing us with fantastic foods and flowers for most of the year.
